Paris Saint-Germain coach Luis Enrique announced on Saturday that his team "feels good" and the players are "ready" to win trophies again at the end of the season, AFP reported, BTA reported.
"There are moments that all the players in the team love, this is the part of the season in which we have to win trophies and we feel good, and the players are ready for the final part of the season", said the Spanish coach three days after qualifying for the Champions League semi-finals, where the opponent will be Bayern Munich.
"We are not doing anything different, we are trying to balance the injuries, the condition of the players and their playing time", he added.
The coach revealed that Spanish midfielder Fabian Ruiz will return to action after a three-month absence due to injury. "He is fine, he is training and if everything goes well, tomorrow he will be in the squad and will play for the first time since the injury," he said of Ruiz for the upcoming match against Olympique Lyonnais.
After suffering a slight knee injury in the second leg against Liverpool, Desire Due will be in the squad, but Nuno Mendes, who has a hip problem and continues to train in the gym, will not be.
"Are PSG stronger than last season? I don't know. Whether we are stronger or not is not so important. At this level it is incredible," replied Enrique, who believes that there is no favorite in the clash between his team and Bayern Munich.
"It doesn't matter who is the favorite, it matters who will show their level on the pitch. We are playing in our third consecutive semi-final, we are proud," the coach stressed.
