Spain coach Luis de la Fuente won the award for best men's coach of the year. He was presented with the award during the “Ballon d'Or“ ceremony.
The Spanish specialist was preferred over four serious competitors. Among the nominees for the prize were Arsenal's Mikel Arteta, Aston Villa's Unai Emery, Paris Saint-Germain's Luis Enrique and Bayern Munich's Vincent Kompany.
