The Turkish Fenerbahçe won its second European championship title after defeating the Monaco team 81:70 (18:20, 17:13, 19:18, 27:19) in the final of the Euroleague men's basketball. The final four of the most prestigious European club basketball tournament took place in Abu Dhabi, BTA reported.

The Fenerbahce team led by head coach Šarūnas Jasikevičius last set foot on the top of the Old Continent in 2017, when Željko Obradović was at the helm.

The team of head coach Vasilis Spanoulis had a slight advantage until the last minutes of the first half, but the Turkish giants led 35:33 after 20 minutes of play. An even third half followed, with Fenerbahçe leading 54:51 before the final half, when the Istanbul team turned the tables.

Nigel Hayes-Davies led Fenerbahçe with 23 points and 9 rebounds, while Marko Gudurich contributed 19 points and 6 rebounds.

Alpha Diallo scored 19 points and 3 rebounds for Monaco, while Mike James finished with 17 points and 5 rebounds.
