Head coach Alexander Tunchev was disappointed and affected by Arda's 2:2 draw against the champion Ludogorets, which left the team from Kardzhali in fourth place in the final standings of the Bulgarian football championship. Arda missed out on overtaking Cherno More and will play a play-off for the Conference League.
"We lacked concentration and class. We failed to score our chances and it's normal to get here," Tunchev told Diema Sport.
"In the second half, there was a retreat and tension, and I don't know what caused this. We were too worried and we are disappointed. Considering that Cherno More failed to beat Levski, we should have done more. I am affected by the end of the match and I am not thinking about the play-offs at all. Given what we showed today, we do not deserve to play in Europe. It will be very difficult".
