Olympiacos and Alexander Vezenkov defeated Panathinaikos with 99:88 (30:28, 14:17, 34:22, 21:21) as guests in a match from the final playoff in the Greek basketball championship, BTA reported.

"The Red and Whites" lead the series with 2:1 and are only one success away from winning the title.

Bulgarian international Vezenkov finished with 25 points, 5 rebounds, 4 assists and 1 steal, becoming the most productive for the winners.

The guests led by two points after the first period, but the "green" turned the tide of events on the field even before the break. The third half proved decisive for the final outcome of the match, when Olympiacos already had a 72:59 lead.

"The Red and Whites" maintained their strong performance in the last 10 minutes, preventing PAO from getting back into the match.

Nikola Milutinov scored 17 points for Olympiacos, while his teammate Evan Fournier added another 15 points.

Kendrick Nunn and Jedi Osman each scored 25 points for Panathinaikos.

The fourth match between the two teams will be held on Sunday, with Olympiacos hosting the game.
