Rilski Sportist learns about its possible rivals on the way to the group stage of the FIBA Champions League

For the second year in a row, the Bulgarian champion Rilski Sportist will participate in the qualifications for entering the group stage of the FIBA Champions League, BTA reported.

A total of 24 teams will compete in the qualifiers, and they will be divided into three tournaments, the winners of which will qualify for the group stage of the men's basketball competition.

The qualifications will be held from September 23 to 28, and the team from Samokov has requested the right to host one of the tournaments, the club officially confirmed.

The regular season in the FIBA Champions League will start on October 7, and the draw for the qualifications and the regular season will be drawn on July 2 in Switzerland.

The names of Rilski Sportist's possible rivals are now clear: Bakken (Denmark), Bursaspor (Turkey), Oradea (Romania), Elan Chalon (France), Falco (Hungary), Fribourg (Switzerland), Den Bosch (Netherlands), Juventus Utena (Lithuania), Kalev Kramo (Estonia), Karhu (Finland), Kutaisi (Georgia), Leuven (Germany), PAOK (Greece), Levice (Slovakia), Pelister (Republic of North Macedonia), AEK Larnaca (Cyprus), Porto (Portugal), Reggiana (Italy), Derby (Montenegro), Trepca (Kosovo), Murcia (Spain), Antwerp (Belgium) and the second from the Polish league.
