Manchester City are considering Como head coach Cesc Fabregas as a potential successor to Josep Guardiola, FootballTransfers reports.
According to the source, the City management is impressed not only by the 37-year-old Spaniard's coaching vision, but also by his composure, communication skills and leadership qualities, BTA reported.
The club believes that the appointment of Fabregas could be a natural continuation of Guardiola's legacy. He could replace the current City manager in 2027, when Pep's current contract expires.
Fabregas has been at the helm of Como since the summer of 2024. Under his leadership, the Serie A debutants finished tenth in the 2024/25 season.
