Former Litex remains without funding

The Orange will almost certainly kick in the rural groups, if they maintain a team at all, Topsport reported

The four-time Bulgarian football champion - the former Litex and current Lovech, will have a difficult fate in the future. "The Orange" are without funding and will almost certainly kick in the rural divisions, if they survive as a team at all, Topsport writes.

There are no longer any candidates to help the Lovech team, after the business people in the district are "at odds" with the mayor of Lovech - Stratsimir Petkov. He won the battle for the position as a representative of ITN and this is one of the reasons they backed away from him.

The municipality does not have the funds to allocate for the "orange", who are also four-time winners of the Bulgarian Cup, and also have a Super Cup of the country in their showcase.

Coach Eugen Trica, who tried to save Lovech, also left the city, and the players dispersed to seek happiness elsewhere, but not near the Covered Bridge.

The salary of the Romanian, who played for both Litex and CSKA in our country, was paid by his former teammate at the "orange" and national coach - Ivaylo Petev.

After the withdrawal of Grisha Ganchev as the main benefactor of the Lovech club, there has been no serious sponsor for years to pour money into the team - which largely predetermined the fate of the team.

In this situation, unless a miracle happens, the team will be kicking around villages and palanquins in the district groups.

The stadium has not been maintained for a long time, it is quite neglected, as well as the base where the Lovech players trained.
