Hollywood legends Mel Gibson and Danny Glover showed great respect for Levski and the majority owner of the club Nasko Sirakov just before the start of the “blues“ in the Europa League against Hapoel Beer Sheva.
The two actors, who made a memorable tandem in the series “Lethal Weapon“ in the 80s and 90s, posed and signed a jersey of the “blues“, on the back of which Sirakov's surname and number 8 were written. The film stars made the huge gesture and wished Levski's success in the new season at his meeting with financier Kiril Evtimov during the London Film and Comic Con festival.
The event was held at the “Olympia“ hall in the English capital, and Evtimov was among the special guests at the traditional meeting between fans and a number of film and comic stars.
Mel Gibson and Danny Glover are not the first Hollywood legends to show respect for Levski thanks to Kiril Evtimov. Last year, a “blue“ jersey with number 11 and the name of Bozhidar Iskrenov was painted by Jon Voight.
In 2023 Chuck Norris made a similar gesture, but with Elin Topuzakov's team.
