Stiliyana Nikolova won gold in clubs, a silver medal in ball and a bronze in hoop in the finals of the individual apparatuses at the last Rhythmic Gymnastics World Cup of the season in the Italian city of Milan. Thus, the Bulgarian, who finished fourth in the all-around last night, finished the competition with a full set of awards, BTA reported.
The student of Valentina Ivanova performed her composition with clubs excellently and with a score of 29.400 points (difficulty 13.000; artistry 8.250; execution 8.200) took the title.
Second and third were Sofia Rafaeli (Italy) with 28.850 and Zulu Wang (China) with 28.800 points, respectively.
Earlier today, the European vice-champion from Tallinn 2025 Nikolova received 29.750 points for her performance with ball (difficulty 13.100; artistry 8.500; execution 8.150) and took the silver.
The winner of this apparatus is Olympic champion from Paris 2024 Darya Varfolomeev (Germany) with 30.300 points, and third is the Italian Tara Dragash with 29.400.
Nikolova also performed strongly in the hoop and won the bronze medal with 29.450 points (13.200; 8.250; 8.000).
The gold went to the winner of the all-around Sofia Raffaelli (Italy) with 30.100 points, and second was the absolute European champion for 2025 Taisiya Onofrichuk (Ukraine) with 30.000.
Stiliana Nikolova failed to qualify among the top eight in the ribbon, and the other Bulgarian Eva Brezalieva came in 17th in the all-around.
This is the last major competition before the World Championships in rhythmic gymnastics in Rio de Janeiro (Brazil), which will take place from August 20 to 24.
