CSKA may not have a win this season yet, but it is preparing for a big one in the transfer market, Topsport reported.

The 31-time champion is showing serious interest in central striker Andre Clovis, who was believed to have agreed personal terms with Levski.

On Monday, it became clear that the second-division Portuguese club Academico had rejected an offer from the "Blues" for the 27-year-old Brazilian. According to insiders, the "Reds" now have a better chance of signing him.

From "Gerena" were making plans that they would be able to attract Clovis for 750,000 euros, by transferring the amount in several installments. The Brazilian insisted on a higher salary than the initially offered 20,000 euros, and in recent days the two sides have ironed out the differences. Now, however, a sensational turn could occur and Clovis could land at CSKA, which could tempt him with a much more appetizing offer.

A large part of Clovis's career was spent in Portugal, where he also played for Portimonense, Leixoes and Estoril. The striker is 186 centimeters tall, and CSKA will try to attract him to form a striking duo with Ioannis Pitas.
