Our under-18 basketball players lost in a tough battle to France

Our team lost by 72:76 points (22:20, 19:16, 11:20, 20:20) in a playoff match from the round of 16 of the European Championship in Belgrade.

The players of coach Stoyo Cholakov gave a tough fight to the opponent, but they could not hold out, as a weak third quarter for Bulgaria helped the French to dramatically reach the final success.

Three Bulgarian basketball players finished the match with double-digit points, with the most productive with 21 points, and in the match, was Ivaylo Skrinski.

Daniel Hinkov added 16, and Kaloyan Balkandzhiev finished the match with 14 points.

For France, Meissa Faye scored 16 points.
