The Arda (Kardzhali) team held its official training session at "Bolt ARENA" in Helsinki, before tomorrow's rematch of the second qualifying round of the Conference League tournament, BTA reported.
The first match a week ago in Kardzhali ended in a 0:0 draw. The Bulgarian team may regret it because it had more and clearer goal opportunities, which it did not realize, however.
A group of 21 players was selected by coach Alexander Tunchev, which also included central defender Felix Eboa Eboa and attacking midfielder Ivan Tilev, who missed the match with Lokomotiv (Sofia). Before the session, Tunchev said that the team will seek victory at all costs in order to be able to advance to the next phase of the tournament.
Arda's players arrived in the Finnish capital and were attacked by fans for autographs at the airport, who had prepared photos of the entire team. However, the local media were not particularly active on the issue, with some sports publications focusing on hockey or the death of biathlete Laura Dahlmeier.
The match between HIK and Arda is tomorrow, July 31, at 7:00 p.m.
