The Turkish football club Goztepe earned a point after a 0:0 draw against Fenerbahce in a match from the second round of the local championship. Thus, the team of the Bulgarian coach Stanimir Stoilov remained undefeated and occupies third place with two points behind the leaders Galatasaray and Samsunspor, BTA reported.
Goztepe was left with less than a man after an hour of play after a red card for Brazilian Juan Santos, who stopped a Fenerbahce counterattack. The runners-up, led by Jose Mourinho, did not take advantage and in the 85th minute the forces were equalized with a second yellow card for Jaden Osterwolde, who held a Göztepe player with his hand.
Fenerbahçe reached its best position in added time of the match when Novatus Mirosi fouled Cenk Tosun in the penalty area and the referee awarded a penalty. However, captain Mateusz Liszt saved midfielder Taliska's shot into the left corner.
In the first round, Göztepe won 3-0 against Rizespor.
