Barcelona star and Spain international Lamine Yamal has been named the best teenager in world football. The youngster topped the CIES Football Observatory rankings after collecting an average rating of 97.7 points, reports gong.bg.
The 2024/2025 season for Yamal was phenomenal, as he made a key contribution to the La Liga title, the Copa del Rey and the Spanish Super Cup. Three young Chelsea players – Estevao Willian, Yorel Hatto and future signing Geovanni Queenda also impressed observers, entering the prestigious top ten of the most promising talents in the world.
Estevao came fourth with a score of 86.7, after showing his immense potential at Palmeiras before signing for Chelsea. Hatto, who became the discovery of Ajax, took sixth place with 84.0. Queenda, who will arrive at “Stamford Bridge“ from Sporting in 2026, is ninth with 83.8.
In other words, the second position goes to another Barcelona talent – Pau Kubarsi, who is already a key figure in Hansi Flick's plans and received a score of 93.4. In third place is the star of Paris Saint-Germain and France – Warren Zaire-Emery, with 87.8.
Among the top 10 is also Arsenal's young talent – Miles Lewis-Skelly, who is ranked seventh with 83.9.
