Cologne defeated Freiburg

The German giant Borussia (Dortmund) defeated Union (Berlin) 3:0 as a host in a match from the 2nd round of the Bundesliga, FOCUS reported.

The match was played at the "Signal Iduna Park" stadium in Dortmund in front of a full capacity of 81,365 spectators in the stands.

The result was opened by Serou Girassi in the 44th minute after an assist from Yann Couto. Again, the Guinean Girassi was accurate for 2:0, as this happened in the 58th. The goal assist was provided by Maximilian Bayer.

The 3:0 classic was shaped by Felix Nmeka. The reserve scored the last goal in the 70th minute.

With the success, Borussia moved up to 3rd place in the provisional standings with 4 points. Union are 10th with 3 points.

Cologne defeated Freiburg at home 4:1 in the second round of the Bundesliga. The match was at the "Rheinenergiestadion" stadium.

Jakub Kaminski opened the scoring for the hosts in the 35th minute after an assist from Marius Bülter. Bülter doubled his lead in the 47th minute when he was found by Jan Tillmann. Tillmann himself scored in the 56th minute after a pass from Bülter. Said El Mala made it 4:0 in the 81st minute, and 3 minutes later Maximilian Eggestein scored the consolation goal for the guests.

"The Goats" are third with 6 points, while Freiburg is last with none.
