Now governance is reduced to the position of a few people who accept or not accept a given situation and make decisions, and this is not good, says the guest

For many years I have stayed away from politics. But I accept Rumen Radev's project as a person who sees that the country needs change. And this is so because in recent years we have retreated a lot from the democratic principles of governance - both in the economy and in the social sphere. In Bulgaria we need change, not replacement. It is not a question of replacing some oligarchs with others. Now governance is reduced to the position of a few people who accept or not accept a given situation and make decisions, and this is not good. This is undoubtedly a regression. He announced this to Lili Marinkova in the studio “FACT“ and the show “Conversation“ General Rumen Milanov from “Progressive Bulgaria“.

“This regression is directly related to the growth of corruption, the creation of circles around various party structures. This immediately compromises the entire process, because it has become so that the state begins to serve certain political forces as a truncheon. I say it literally. This is the prosecutor's office. Not the whole one - just certain people“, commented Gen. Milanov.

“Another thing is the creation of the Commission for Combating Corruption and the law that was adopted in 2005 for the seizure of property obtained from criminal activity. That is, there must be a conviction and based on the conviction, this property acquired as a result of this criminal activity should be seized. The person in question may also have a white business. This whole approach must be fundamentally changed, because procedures are started, business is stopped, accounts are stopped and finally the court gives an acquittal. What happens to the person in question... The consequences for this period of time are tragic for these people who have suffered. All these elements must be changed from the point of view of justice,“ the guest added.
