Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky stressed the importance of drones in protecting his country from the Russian invasion and at the same time offered NATO help in countering Russian unmanned aerial vehicles, DPA reported, quoted by dariknews.bg.
"The most effective sanctions - the sanctions that work the fastest - are strikes on Russian oil refineries, their terminals and their oil storage facilities," the Ukrainian head of state said today in his traditional video address to the nation.
He noted that these attacks are painful for Russia and also affect Moscow's military actions. The attacks in question "have significantly limited the capacity of the Russian oil industry, and this in itself significantly limits military capabilities," Zelensky noted.
Ukraine launched a massive air strike against Russia overnight, using at least 361 drones and causing a brief fire at an oil refinery in the northwestern Russian city of Kirishi, 110 kilometers from St. Petersburg.
