The man arrested in the murder of American conservative activist Charlie Kirk is not cooperating with authorities, Utah Governor Spencer Cox announced today, quoted by Reuters and dariknews.bg.
Investigators are working to establish the motive for the shooting committed by 22-year-old suspect Tyler Robinson by questioning his friends and relatives, Cox added.
He said Robinson would be formally charged on Tuesday. He remains in custody in Utah.
Investigators must gather evidence to explain why Robinson climbed onto the roof of Utah Valley University during Kirk's public appearance on Wednesday and shot the activist in the neck from a distance.
