Russia attacks Ukrainian railway infrastructure

Part of the city of Kropyvnytskyi and 44 other settlements in the Kirovohrad region were left without electricity as a result of a massive Russian attack with drones last night. This was reported in "Telegram" by the local regional governor Andriy Raykovych, quoted by Ukrinform, BTA reported.

According to him, Kirovohrad region was subjected to a major drone strike at night, in which objects from the region's infrastructure were hit. At this time, the regional center and 44 settlements in the Oleksandrivka municipality remain partially without electricity.

From Oleksandrivka there are also reports of damaged residential buildings. Raykovych added that firefighter teams have been extinguishing flames in various places all night. The Odessa regional branch of the Ukrainian state railways "Ukrzaliznytsia" reported that train traffic was disrupted in two directions, one of which was to Kropyvnytskyi.

Earlier, Ukrinform reported delays in a number of trains due to a massive Russian strike on "Ukrzaliznytsia" facilities and power outages in various sections of the railway network.
