Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic will meet with US Secretary of State Marco Rubio in New York, BTA reports, citing Serbian public broadcaster RTS, News.bg reports.
The meeting was requested by Marco Rubio and will take place during Vucic's participation in the UN General Assembly.
The Serbian leader expressed hope that it is possible to resolve the issue of US tariffs. He indicated that he would also try to talk to US Treasury Secretary Scott Besant.
Alexander Vucic is on a visit to Japan and expressed satisfaction with the Serbian delegation's talks with both Japanese Emperor Naruhito and Prime Minister Shigeru Ishiba.
