Three police officers were killed and two are in critical condition after a confrontation with an armed attacker in the US state of Pennsylvania, local authorities reported, quoted by "Reuters" agency and BNR.
The perpetrator was shot by law enforcement.
The state police commissioner, Colonel Christopher Perris, explained that the shooting took place in the city of Codorus Township in southeastern Pennsylvania. The incident occurred as part of an investigation that began a day earlier. Without revealing details, Colonel Perris indicated that the investigation is related to domestic problems.
