The Washington administration is discussing with Afghan representatives the restoration of US control over Bagram airbase, US President Donald Trump announced.
“We will see what happens with Bagram. We are negotiating with Afghanistan. The base should not have been abandoned“, he said, answering questions from reporters at the White House.
On September 18, Trump announced that the US was trying to regain control of Bagram airbase.
