Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko called the closure of the border with Belarus by Poland an unfriendly political move towards China, BelTA news agency reported.

„Recently, there have been many insinuations in the media, especially in connection with your visit to Belarus, concerning, among other things, our relations with Poland and the closure of the border between Belarus and Poland. I understand that this is most likely a hostile move on the part of the Poles - political, and perhaps some kind of image move, as the Poles believe, against the People's Republic of China. But it is not economic at all. Because an empire like China can easily cope with this problem. "But the topic is still relevant," the Belarusian leader said during a meeting with Li Xi, a member of the Standing Committee of the Politburo of the Communist Party of China Central Committee and secretary of the CPC Central Commission for Discipline Inspection.
