The Russian Defense Ministry's air defense forces have destroyed nine drones that attacked Moscow.
According to preliminary information, there was no damage, Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin announced.
On his official MAX messenger channel, he also stressed that emergency services were working at the scene of the incident.
Rosaviatsia spokesman Artyom Korenyako announced the suspension of arriving and departing flights at Yaroslavl Airport. Similar restrictions have been in place at Kaluga Airport for over three hours at the time of publication.
The last time Sobyanin reported that a drone attack had been repelled was on the night of September 12. He then announced a total of nine drones shot down in less than an hour and a half.
Nine civilians in the Donetsk People's Republic, including a child, were injured as a result of shelling by the Ukrainian Armed Forces, the head of the DPR, Denis Pushilin, announced.
„Nine civilians in the republic were injured today due to Kiev's aggression, including the night shelling of the Kuibyshev district of the regional capital. In the Leninsky district of Donetsk, a child, a girl born in 2022, was seriously injured as a result of an attack by a strike drone of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. A woman born in 1999 was seriously injured, and men born in 1987, 1994 and 1991 were moderately injured,” he wrote.
Also in the Central urban district of Horlivka, a woman and a man, employees of the Horlivka administration, were injured in a suicide drone attack. In the village of Luhanske, Debaltseve urban district, a man received a moderate injury when an explosive device was dropped from a drone. The injured are receiving qualified medical care.
In Horlivka, nine residential buildings, a school, a post office, a boiler room and an administrative building in the Central urban district of the city were damaged. In Donetsk, a gas station in the Leninsky district was damaged.
The Ukrainian Armed Forces have carried out 13 armed attacks using drones.
