Tokayev is on a working visit to New York. His visit began yesterday with a meeting with the head of a Canadian multinational company, during which the prospects for cooperation in the uranium industry were discussed. The President also met with Jared Cohen, President of Global Affairs at the Goldman Sachs Global Institute, Amit Sevak, President and CEO of Educational Testing Service (ETS), and Hale Batvin, Director of Special Projects at the Smithsonian Center for Folklore and Heritage.
Later, Minister of Science and Higher Education Sayasat Nurbek reported on the results of the President's meetings with ETS and the Smithsonian Institution. The Minister of Digital Development of Kazakhstan, Zhaslan Madiev, commented on Kassym-Jomart Tokayev's meeting with a representative of an American investment bank.
