Ukraine expects additional $15 billion from Western countries for its military-industrial complex

The amount does not include financial support, which could reach $60 billion in 2026.

Ukraine expects to receive an additional $15 billion from Western countries for the development of its military-industrial complex in 2025-2026.

This is stated in the program of activities for 2025-2026, submitted to the Verkhovna Rada by the Ukrainian government, TASS reported.

As noted in the program, the Ukrainian government intends to provide “financing of the Ukrainian defense-industrial complex from partners at the level of at least $5 billion“ by December 31, 2025, and at least $10 billion in 2026. Overall, the financing of the military-industrial complex in Ukraine is expected to double compared to 2025 (the exact amount is not specified).

These amounts represent military-industrial financing only; they do not include financial support, which could reach $60 billion in 2026, nor direct supplies of weapons, equipment, and ammunition, which amount to approximately $1-2 billion per month.
