North Korean Foreign Minister Choe Son-hui will visit China at the invitation of her Chinese counterpart Wang Yi, the KCNA news agency reported. This will be her second visit to Beijing in less than a month, Reuters notes. The visit is expected to take place from September 27 to 30, News.bg reports.
In early September, Choe Son-hui was part of the delegation led by North Korean leader Kim Jong-un, who attended a major military parade in the Chinese capital.
Appointed in 2022, Choe is one of the few women holding high-ranking positions in North Korea. She has frequently attended Kim Jong-un's summits with other world leaders, including with Donald Trump during his first term as US president.
