The Israeli army announced that it had hit military targets of the Houthi regime a day after their drone attacks on the Red Sea resort city of Eilat, Reuters reported, quoted by BTA.
Among the targets hit were the control headquarters of the Houthi main headquarters, security and intelligence departments, as well as military camps, the Israeli armed forces announced.
"We have already dealt a powerful blow to multiple targets of the Houthi terrorists in Sanaa", wrote in "Ex" Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz.
At least two civilians were killed and 48 wounded in an Israeli airstrike on the Yemeni capital Sanaa today, Yemeni Houthi rebels who control the city said, as quoted by Agence France-Presse.
Israeli "brutality has caused casualties among the civilian population", said Anis Alasbahi, a spokesman for the Houthi Health Ministry, who said that preliminary figures show "two civilians were killed and 48 wounded".
