The airport of the Danish city of Aalborg was closed due to detected drones for a second consecutive night, Reuters reported, quoted by BTA, referring to the unmanned aerial vehicles on the flight tracking website "FlightRadar24".
The plane, operating flight Kl1289 from Amsterdam, returned back to the Netherlands, and a flight to Copenhagen was canceled. The Danish capital's airport was closed due to drones earlier this week.
The airspace over Aalborg Airport was closed at 11:40 p.m. local time (00:40 Bulgarian time), police said. The airport returned to normal operations at 00:35 a.m. Danish time (01:35 Bulgarian time).
