The head of the European Union's diplomacy, Kaia Kallas, said in an interview with Politico that Europe is not solely responsible for providing assistance to Ukraine, Focus reports.

She reminded US President Donald Trump of his promise to end the war.
„He was the one who promised to stop the killings. "Therefore, the responsibility cannot be ours alone," Kallas said.

Her statement comes amid speculation that the United States may withdraw military aid to Kiev.

Earlier this week, Trump posted on Truth Social that he believed Ukraine "is in a position to fight and win all of Ukraine back to its original form." He added that this would be done with the support of the European Union and NATO, which "can do whatever they want" with American weapons.

"America is the greatest ally in NATO. So if we talk about what NATO should do, that also means what America should do," the EU High Representative stressed.
