A small plane crashed this afternoon in the yard of a military unit in the Dancu suburb of the northeastern Romanian city of Iasi, where a weapons warehouse is located, reported Digi 24 TV and Agerpres, quoted by BTA.
There were two people on board the aircraft - a pilot and a passenger.
Two ambulances, fire trucks, a team from the Emergency Situations Service and a team from the Emergency Response Service (SMURD) were sent to the scene.
The spokesperson for the Emergency Situations Inspectorate in Iasi, Georgica Onofreiasa, told Agerpres that the two people who were on board were found conscious.
