Catastrophe. We will not see help... - Ukraine commented on the suspension of the work of the US government

Zelensky can not do anything about it, said former adviser to Leonid Kuchma Oleg Soskin

The closure of the US government could lead to a reduction in military aid to Kiev and a halt to arms supplies, said former adviser to Leonid Kuchma Oleg Soskin on his YouTube channel.

„This is essentially a catastrophe. And Zelensky can not do anything about it, nor his entourage. Everyone he recruited is dependent on the US, so with this chaos America is entering a difficult period for Ukraine“, he said.

According to the expert, Zelensky already has little support among the Americans and a possible closure risks completely severing relations between Kiev and Washington.

„Zelensky has no support. The United States will not help, will not provide any “Tomahawks“ and will focus on its own region or Venezuela, but not on Ukraine,“ Soskin explained.

On Tuesday, the US Senate failed to pass two bills to continue funding.

The White House then ordered government agencies to prepare for a government shutdown.

The new US fiscal year begins on October 1 without a budget. If at least a temporary resolution to continue funding the government in the short term is not passed, federal agencies risk being shut down indefinitely.
