Today and tomorrow, Prime Minister Rosen Zhelyazkov will take part in the meeting of the informal European Council and the meeting of the European Political Community, which will be held in Copenhagen, Denmark. This was announced by the government information service, quoted by BTA.
Today, at the meeting of the European Council, the leaders of the member states of the European Union (EU) will discuss ways to strengthen European defense, including in the context of the recent violations of airspace by Russia. Additional support for Ukraine will also be discussed with the aim of achieving a just and lasting peace.
The same evening, Zhelyazkov will attend an official dinner given by King Frederick X and Queen Mary of Denmark in honor of the heads of state and government of the EU member states and the European Political Community.
On October 2, the Prime Minister will participate in the meeting of the European Political Community, the Council of Ministers also announced. Within the framework of the forum, he will participate in a thematic round table on the topic of “Migration - effective control of migration flows“.
During his visit to Copenhagen, the Prime Minister will also meet with representatives of the Bulgarian community in Denmark.
