Following the meeting of European leaders in Copenhagen, French President Emmanuel Macron announced that he would convene the heads of military commands of EU countries in the coming days. The aim is to discuss joint action against Russia's so-called “shadow fleet” - a mechanism through which Moscow exports oil, circumventing the sanctions imposed on it, Agence France-Presse reported, quoted by BTA.
Macron stressed the need for concrete countermeasures.
"In the coming days, our chiefs of general staff will meet to agree on joint action in coordination with NATO and within the framework of the coalition of the willing," he said.
