The body of a man wearing a snorkel was found in the sea off the coast of Antalya, the DHA news agency reported on Saturday. The body in the sea near the “Ataturk“ park was spotted by a man swimming in the water on Saturday morning.
“The coast guard, responding to the call, recovered the body of a man wearing a snorkel mask,“ the statement said.
A forensic examination will determine the cause of death.
“Rescuers found the deceased's belongings on the rocks and determined from his disability certificate that he was a 41-year-old Turkish citizen. The man jumped into the sea from the rocks and swam with a snorkel mask, the agency reported.
