Russia continues to purchase foreign components for weapons production, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said on "Facebook", quoted by Ukrinform. He stressed that Ukraine expects a systemic solution from the meeting of G-7 sanctions coordinators, which is due to take place this week. BTA reported.

In the massive strike on Ukraine on the night of October 4-5, Russia used 549 weapons systems, including 102,785 components, manufactured by companies from the United States, China, Taiwan, Great Britain, Germany, Switzerland, Japan, the Netherlands and the Republic of Korea, the Ukrainian president emphasized.

According to Zelensky, companies in the United States produce converters for Kh-101 missiles and "Shahed" drones, sensors for them and for "Kinzhal" missiles, analog-to-digital converters for drones and missiles, as well as microelectronics for missiles.

"At least 50 different microelectronic components in each "Shahed" are manufactured in China and Taiwan. Microcontrollers for unmanned aerial vehicles are manufactured in Switzerland, and microcomputers for controlling the flight of drones – in the UK. Optoisolators for cruise missiles are from Japan, and switching connectors – from Germany. Russia also uses processors made in the Netherlands, and servomotors and bearings made in the Republic of Korea", Zelensky stressed.

He added that Ukraine is preparing new sanctions against those who help Russia and its war. "The partners now have detailed data on each company and each product – they know what to look for and how to react", the Ukrainian president added.
