Negotiators from "Hamas" and Israel have exchanged lists of prisoners and hostages who would be released if an agreement is reached during ongoing Gaza ceasefire talks in Egypt. This was stated by a senior representative of the Palestinian group, Taher Al-Nounu, quoted by "Reuters".

Al-Nounu also indicated that "Hamas" had expressed optimism about reaching an agreement, noting that the group had demonstrated the necessary positivity.

Indirect talks between the Israeli government and "Hamas" began in Egypt on Monday in an attempt to end the war in Gaza.

US President Donald Trump said he sees a "real chance" of a peace agreement in Gaza. He said American negotiators are participating in the talks.
