Serbia and Hungary held a joint military exercise under the title "Neighbors 25" with the aim of increasing the level of cooperation between the armies of the two countries and exchanging combat experience, the Serbian Ministry of Defense announced, quoted by the newspaper "Politika", reports BTA.
The exercise was held at the military training ground "Pasuljanske Livade" with the participation of members of the First Brigade of the Serbian Army and the 30th Mechanized Brigade of Hungary.
During the multi-day exercise, the soldiers together practiced the actions of the units in tactical operations, including the use of modern combat vehicles, communication systems and equipment for collecting and processing intelligence information.
This is the tenth joint exercise under the title “Neighbors“, which, in addition to improving military cooperation and bilateral relations between Serbia and Hungary, also increases the operational capacities for planning, organizing and conducting international activities, as well as the capabilities of the Serbian army units to participate in peacekeeping operations, the publication states.
