An Afghan national was found guilty today of threatening to kill Nigel Farage, the leader of the populist Reform UK party, which is leading in the polls in Britain, in a video on TikTok, Reuters reported, BTA reported.

Fayaz Khan, 26, was found guilty by a London jury of threatening to kill Farage in a video posted in October 2024.

According to prosecutors, Khan posted his video in response to a video by Farage. Footage from the clip shows Khan, who has a tattoo of a Kalashnikov assault rifle on his face, imitating sounds of gunfire and gestures with his hands as if he were holding a gun.

Farage testified yesterday that he was “genuinely alarmed“ by Khan's threat and called his video “chilling“.

Khan will be sentenced next week for that conviction, as well as for a conviction for illegally entering the UK in a case to which he has already pleaded guilty.
