Restoration of electricity continues in Odessa after the night attack

Thousands of subscribers now have electricity, critical infrastructure is working stably

The elimination of the consequences of the night attack and the restoration of electricity supply in Odessa and the region continues, the chairman of the Odessa Regional Military Administration Oleg Kiper announced in the “Telegram“ application, BTA reports.

“So far, electricity supply has been restored to 52.5 thousand subscribers. About 25,000 people remain without electricity," Kiper specified.

According to him, the restoration of domestic gas for 260 subscribers is continuing, and the critical infrastructure in the region is working stably.

161 population assistance points have been deployed in the city of Odessa, where citizens can charge their phones and receive the necessary support.

According to the latest official census in Ukraine, Bulgarians in the Odessa region number over 150,000 people, making them the third largest ethnic group in the region. About 50-60,000 Bulgarians live in the city of Odessa itself, and the largest compact Bulgarian population is concentrated in the Bolgrad, Izmail and Belgorod-Dniester regions.
