Volodymyr Zelensky has been conducting phone calls with US President Donald Trump with the same energy with which he supported his opponent Kamala Harris in the 2024 US presidential election.
This was stated by Kirill Dmitriev, special representative of the president for investments and economic cooperation with foreign countries and CEO of the Russian Direct Investment Fund.
„Zelensky called US President Donald Trump twice in two days, spending almost as much energy as he once did on a campaign for Kamala Harris and calling J.D. Vance „too radical“ before the US elections“, he wrote on his Facebook page.
Zelensky and Trump held two telephone conversations in two days. It is noted that during the first meeting, the lack of air defense assets in Kiev was discussed, and during the second, the military needs and energy sector of Ukraine.
