General Syrsky: The realities of the battlefield are determined by strike drones, the death zone already reaches 10 kilo

The Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Oleksandr Syrsky reports that strike drones have expanded the so-called "death zone" on the front. Now it reaches 10 kilometers, reports Ukrainskaya Pravda, quoted by Focus.

"At the current stage of the war, the realities of the battlefield are determined by strike drones, and the "death zone" already reaches 10 kilometers. In such conditions, the capabilities of our logistics and military medicine acquire great importance for the operational evacuation of the wounded. We must look at the war through the prism of the needs of the Ukrainian infantryman, to preserve his life and health.

According to the commander-in-chief, he held a monthly working meeting on the issues of medical service of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

At it, he listened to a "substantial report" on the use of innovative tools by the medical service of the 106th separate territorial defense brigade. This is about professional consultations that doctors from rear hospitals provide to servicemen in areas of combat missions using portable FMC complexes.

"This system allows for secure online consultations with transmission of ECG data, dermatoscopy, ultrasonoscopy, otoscopy in the event of a long distance from the line of contact to hospitals and medical facilities where there are narrow-profile specialists".

Syrsky added that the military units have received the first batch of such equipment and there are already results from its use.

"The practical experience gained must be scaled up and disseminated throughout the troops. This includes the use of information and communication technologies, the evacuation of wounded from the battlefield using ground robotic complexes and other technological and organizational solutions", commented Sirski.

According to the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Bulgaria, "work on the digitalization of the reporting of medical care for military personnel continues. The amount of documents is being reduced, patients are being freed from the unnecessary bureaucratic burden".
