US President Donald Trump announced today the beginning of the implementation of the second phase of his plan for Gaza, Reuters reported.
The agency notes that this happened against the backdrop of deteriorating prospects for the agreement, with Israel delaying deliveries of humanitarian aid and "Hamas" tightening its control over the strip.
In a comment published on his own social network "Truth Social" a day after visiting Israel and Egypt, Trump welcomed the release of all living hostages held by the Palestinian Islamist movement in Gaza, Agence France-Presse reported, quoted by BTA.
"The job is NOT DONE", the US president emphasized at the same time. He reminded that "Hamas" have not handed over the bodies of the dead hostages as planned.
The Palestinian Islamist movement's television channel has meanwhile shown video footage of the execution in Gaza City of eight men accused of collaborating with Israel.
