Russia claims to have received information about alleged plans by Kiev and London to carry out sabotage against "TurkStream". The statement was made by the director of the Federal Security Service of the Russian Federation (FSB) Alexander Bortnikov, Gazeta.ru reports, quoted by Focus.
"We have information about the preparation by the British, together with the Ukrainian special services, of acts of sabotage against the gas pipeline“, he stated.
"In addition, according to the data, attacks on critical infrastructure targets are being planned jointly with MI-6, including with the use of drones, unmanned boats and divers".
"Instructors from MI-6 also participated in the preparation of a series of attacks against the oil consortium in the Caspian Sea", the FSB director stated. "It is the British, through provocations and disinformation, who are leading Brussels' line to sabotage the resolution of the conflict", he added.
They are pushing for Europe to be forced to prepare for an armed conflict with Russia, calling for the deployment of troops to Ukraine and promoting the idea of creating a no-fly zone, Bortnikov noted.
