At least 11 people were killed on the outskirts of Gaza City as a result of an Israeli strike, the website „Quds“, close to the Palestinian Hamas movement, claims.

According to its sources, all the victims were from one family traveling in a car. Among them were seven children and three women. The car was hit as it headed toward the southeastern area of the city.

The Israel Defense Forces have not yet commented on this information.

A Gaza-born man suspected of participating in the Hamas attack on Israel on October 7, 2023, has been arrested in the US state of Louisiana, the US Department of Justice announced.

On the date in question, the suspect, Mahmoud Amin Yaqub al-Muhtadi, “armed himself and crossed the border into Israel with additional men to help Hamas carry out a terrorist attack“.

Mahmoud Amin Yaqub al-Muhtadi entered the United States on September 12, 2024, after providing false information about himself when applying for a visa, the ministry said in a statement. He did not disclose that he was a member of the military wing of the Democratic Front for the Liberation of Palestine.

Israeli soldiers in the Gaza Strip have received a new coffin containing the remains of a hostage who died in the enclave through the International Committee of the Red Cross, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's office announced.

According to the statement, the military will soon transport the coffin to Israeli territory, where forensic experts will conduct the identification procedure. The name of the deceased whose body was transferred has not yet been revealed.

The Israeli military press service recently announced that the coffin had been delivered to Israeli territory. The remains are currently being transported for forensic examination.
