An Italian businesswoman has died after plastic surgery in Turkey, ANSA reported, BTA reported.
50-year-old Milena Mancini underwent liposuction, but during the procedure an unexpected stomach problem occurred and she was admitted to the intensive care unit of the Istanbul University Hospital. She died on the 20th day of her stay there.
Milena Mancini worked in the field of real estate. She was the daughter of one of the founders and directors of the Italian company Indexa, specializing in industrial maintenance and services.
Milena Mancini had two sisters - one a professor at the Sapienza University in Rome and a renowned biologist, and the other - the owner of an ice cream parlor. The deceased businesswoman also had two daughters.
