There are no plans for a meeting "in the near future" between US and Russian Presidents Donald Trump and Vladimir Putin, Reuters reported, citing a statement by a senior White House official, BTA reports.
The statement was made days after Trump mentioned the possibility of a new meeting with his Russian counterpart.
There are also no plans for a personal meeting between US Secretary of State Marco Rubio and Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov, according to the same source, who, however, described their conversation yesterday as "productive".
