US President Donald Trump's visit to Japan is expected to take place from October 27 to 29, Chief Cabinet Secretary Minoru Kihara announced at a regular press conference.
“US President Trump has been invited to Japan. His visit is expected to take place from October 27 to 29“, he said.
Kihara added that during the trip, Trump is expected to hold talks with new Japanese Prime Minister Sanae Takaichi, as well as have an audience with Emperor Naruhito.
The Chief Cabinet Secretary expressed confidence that the US leader's visit will be an important step in the further development of bilateral relations.
This will be Trump's first trip to Japan during his second term.
