Two people were seriously injured in a shooting in a parking lot in the city of Essen (North Rhine-Westphalia), western Germany, the newspaper „Bild“ reported.
According to the newspaper, the injured have been hospitalized.
Police have cordoned off the scene of the incident and are searching for the suspect throughout the Ruhr region.
